What to Do in the Grand Cayman Islands

Hello everyone! Today's post is my first ever TRAVEL post on the blog! I am super excited to share the details of this amazing trip with you guys... This June, I went to the Grand Cayman Islands with my family. It was SO much fun, and I wanted to show you all some activity ideas if you ever go to the Cayman (believe me, it's worth the trip)!

Where to stay:

The Seafire Kimpton Resort is, in my opinion, the best hotel on the island! It has a very modern vibe, but I loved it! They were so generous - they even gave me a free tote bag, cake, balloons, and handwritten note for my birthday! Overall, it was great service and a wonderful time.

what to eat:

Something you need to remember in the Cayman: go out to eat every chance you get! With restaurants such as The Lobster Pot (personal favorite), Calypso Grill, The Cracked Conch, The Catch, The Wharf (incredible views, and fun tarpon feeding event following dinner), and Coconut Joe's (great breakfast), you're sure to get an amazing meal along with a stunning view of the sunset disappearing! With some of these, you can even sit right next to the ocean, a beautiful view to end your day. This is the outfit I wore to The Wharf one night, which was the best dinner I had the whole trip! what to do:

There are plenty of great activities on the island, and SO much to do ALL the time! With everything going on, you will never be bored (that's for sure)! At the Kimpton Seafire Resort alone, there's an amazing pool, relaxing spa, an easy walk to the ocean, tons of water-sports and activities (along with these cool chairs that spin; see photo)! An interesting tourist attraction is Stingray City, where you get to swim with stingrays and feed them! I have done this twice, and it was a blast each time. Swimming with dolphins at Dolphin Cove is an excellent experience, one that creates lasting memories for everyone! I also enjoyed shopping at The Funky Monkey Boutique, a local bikini and beachwear boutique on the island. There is a multitude of incredible activities to keep you busy in the Cayman, you're sure to find something to do that everybody will love! {Click here to shop my bikini top; bottoms are sold out}
